Heat and Flame Performance

Flame-retardant and self-extinguishing, with one of the broadest EN ISO 11612 classifications in the range — including molten aluminium and molten iron splash, the hazards that separate a foundry-capable garment from a general-purpose one.

Arc-Rated and Antistatic

OCQ-6 carries documented open-arc performance with an APC 1 classification, and 1% carbon antistatic yarn to dissipate electrostatic charge — the pairing that ATEX and explosive-risk sites ask for.

MULTI-RISK / 03

Repellency and Durability

The Multi-Risk treatment adds resistance to water, oil, grease, acid and alkali splashes, while 19% polyester lifts tear resistance and tensile strength well beyond a comparable pure-cotton fabric — and survives industrial laundering.

Developed for oil and gas

OCQ-6 was specified around what an oil and gas crew actually meets in a shift: flash fire, an energised panel, static in an explosive atmosphere, and a constant film of oil and grease. The arc rating, the antistatic yarn and the multi-risk treatment are all in the same 300 g/m² garment.
